Drifter 1500

This is a snapshot of my motorcycle. It is a Kawasaki Drifter 1500. It share the drivetrain from the Kawasaki Vulcan series of cruiser motorcycles. The style is a tribute to the Indian motorcycles of the 1950's. If you look closely, the rear fender is attached to the rear wheel swing arm; it bounces with the rear wheel. This is a gas-it-and-go bike - shaft drive, fuel injection, self-adjusting everything. My bike was originally destined for the Canadian market and has its speedometer in kilometers per hour. I'm pretty good at the conversion.
